McDonalds Midwest Regional Career Fair & Super Step Show Classic
Cleveland365.com is proud to present the McDonalds Midwest Regional Career Fair & Super Step Show Classic. Today, over a million African-American and Latinos belong to public-service fraternal organizations. Included in these organizations are active chapters on nearly every college campus around the country and alumni chapters in cities throughout the country including Northeast Ohio.
Career/College Fair: The day will begin with free a career fair, where college students from all over the region. Attendees will be able to connect with corporations and universities from the area to learn about opportunities, internships and graduate and undergraduate programs.
More importantly we will have workshop facilitated by regional professionals to provide attendees with soft skill enhancement with topics careers in the new economy, including the importance of internships, interview preparation, business etiquette, resume building etc…
Step Show Classic: Attendees will experience a fun-filled day of entertainment and expression that the entire family can enjoy. The Super Step Show Classic is a cultural unity event where all are welcome to enjoy the traditional, rhythmic steps of pride from the various organizations that will be competing. The Midwest Step Show Classic winners will be awarded over $ 5,000.00 in cash prizes and scholarships that will help further the local community service projects. African American Greek Letter fraternities and sororities originally helped develop the popularity of the step shows. Step shows are spreading across the country and around the world. From campus organizations and church groups to high schools and local communities, more and more people are becoming involved in stepping. Recently Hollywood even got in on the act with the release of Sony Pictures “Stomp the Yard” capitalizing on the national popularity of Step Shows.
