McDonalds Midwest Regional Career Fair & Super Step Show Classic
Cleveland365.com is proud to present the McDonalds Midwest Regional Career Fair & Super Step Show Classic. Today, over a million African-American and Latinos belong to public-service fraternal organizations. Included in these organizations are active chapters on nearly every college campus around the country and alumni chapters in cities throughout the country including Northeast Ohio.
Super Step Show Classic: The Super Step Show Classic combines high energy with cultural expression to produce a Family Friendly Show like no other. “Stepping”, which has its roots in traditional African ritual dancing, involves creating precise and complicated steps, as well as expressing showmanship and professionalism. Each fraternity or sorority has its own steps and style. This unique combination of footwork and rhythmic pride produce a sound that is just amazing. Over $ 5,000.00 in cash prizes and scholarships will be awarded to help further local community service projects within these 501c3 organizations.
African American Greek Letter fraternities and sororities originally helped develop the popularity of the step shows. Step shows are spreading across the country and around the world. From campus organizations and church groups to high schools and local communities, more and more people are becoming involved in stepping. Recently Hollywood even got in on the act with the release of Sony Pictures “Stomp the Yard” capitalizing on the national popularity of Step Shows.
